Verbandsprofil EuroFM's mission: The advancement of knowledge in Facility Management in Europe and is application in practice, education and research. The Objectives of the EuroFM Network: 1. To group non-profit making organisations of facility management experts existing in different countries, into a European network; 2. To promote the establishment of such organisations in countries where such do not already exist; 3. To promote the inter-relationship of participating organisations; 4. To act as a central source of information on matters of mutual interest to participating organisations, and to circulate such information for their benefit; 5. To encourage the exchange of information on trends in facility management; 6. To promote mutual hospitality between participating organisations and members thereof; 7. To co-operate with other international organisations in matters concerning facility management and related fields; 8. To encourage and promote symposia, conferences, meeting for exchange of information and business meetings on facility management and related fields; 9. To promote, co-ordinate and organise academic staff and student exchanges, education and research programmes; 10. To seek national and international funds to support collaborative activity; 11. To obtain funds and other resources to cover operating costs, and 12. To encourage and promote any other activities that may contribute to the objectives of the Network. Principles and Values Collaboration in Europe can create greater awareness of the concepts and benefits of facilities management. EuroFM enables the transfer of key technologies and skills and promotes greater recognition of environmental responsibilities. Close co-operation amongst members will provide a voice in environmental politics in Europe. Some key principles of EuroFM have been agreed: - Membership open to non profit making organisations - 3 member meetings a year - business and forum - Shell organisation - Self funding projects - Members contribute direct costs of involvement - Minimum central organisation - All adminstrative costs identified - fee levied to cover costs - EuroFM newsletter produced 3 times a year

Mitgliederstruktur Today the EuroFM Network represents 38+ organisations, comprising 15 European countries representing, Professional Associations, Educational Institutions, and Research Institutes in Finland, Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary and Turkey.
